Bowen Medical makes protective, disposable covers for medical equipment. Blood pressure cuff covers, vascular cuff covers, tourniquet covers and arm sleeve protection. All our products are latex free and a fraction the cost of any other protective device. We prevent cross contamination due to SARS, blood and microbes. The most commonly used medical device, the blood pressure cuff is also documented to be the most contaminated with blood and virulent disease. Our company just wants an opportunity to have you try a new product. Our goal is to help you reduce cross contamination and nosocomial infection rates. In the event of mass causality , biological or chemical attacks, a stockpile of disposable covers would be a necessity.
Cuff-Guard |
This is our protective, disposable cover for the blood pressure cuffs. Cuff-Guard fits over the cuff like an envelope. It seals at the blttom with two sided tape to enclose the cuff in a Tyvek wrapper. Tyvek is the same material that Haz/Mat suits are made from. It takes about 20 seconds to place or remove this simple cover. Cuff-Guard is impervious and very strong material. This product is totally latex free. Cuff-Guard comes in 6 standard sizes, and we can custom make to fit any cuff. |

Arm-Guard |
This is our arm sleeve protection. Rescue workers wear disposable gloves to protect hand contamination, but leave their arms exposed. Our unique clear plastic sleeve protects the exposed arm and attaches with a thumb hole so the gloves provide a perfect protective unit. The Arm-Guard is clear plastic so you may read your watch to count respirations or pulse. We use a non latex elastic to keep it on the upper arm. This product is latex free.
